We are a company dedicated to advancing scientific research and innovation in repurposing waste materials for a cleaner environment. Explore our website to learn more about our cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking discoveries.
Proper waste management systems that promote recycling and reuse reduce the strain on natural resources. For example, by diverting materials from landfills, (as landfills create 16% of methane gas emissions in U.S.), we help conserve energy and raw materials and help prevent excessive methane gas emissions. (Methane is 24-80 times more potent than carbon dioxide.) (1)(2)
Our patented waste-to-energy technologies transform waste into valuable energy sources and other organic products. Efficient renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities contribute to sustainable energy production.
Proper waste disposal and treatment minimize greenhouse gas emissions and related environmental damage. Effective waste management mitigates adverse health and environmental impacts, improving the livability of cities. (3)
Renewable biofuels to contribute to a sustainable energy future, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing renewable energy technologies.
Biofuels are considered more sustainable than fossil fuels because they can be produced from renewable resources and have the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Biofuels do not release additional CO2 into the carbon cycle since the emissions can be reabsorbed in the biofuel cycle. (4)
Biofuels can contribute to economic growth by empowering small or rural communities and creating new industries and jobs. They are recognized as an important sustainable greener energy source that can combat air pollution and provide a secure energy supply. (5)
Technological innovations with our patented processes allow us to produce RNG biofuel with efficiencies greater than 80%, and other products with about 99% operational efficiency. These technology innovations are continually monitored for improvements. (6)
Biofuels contribute to achieving SDG 13 (climate action) and SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy). Biofuels, being a renewable energy source, produced locally, can reduce energy costs and improve energy security. This is particularly beneficial where energy accessibility is a critical issue.
The U.S. Department of Energy reported that the United States has the potential to produce green biofuels from waste to add an additional 2.3 quadrillion Btu annually to the U.S. energy supply. And, RNG has a significantly lower environmental impact due to its cleaner operation. (7)
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, natural gas is responsible for generating 43% of the electricity in the United States. Biofuel, specifically renewable natural gas (RNG), can be employed in power generation versus fossil fuel.
We do not use landfills so we do not create methane emissions with our processes. Certain states are taking action to reduce landfill methane emissions, aiming to cut them by approximately 38% from current levels.
This effort would prevent about 1.6 million metric tons of carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere annually, which is equivalent to removing roughly 308,000 gasoline-powered cars from the road.
